Children's Primary Care Medical Group (CPCMG) is one of the largest regional, primary care pediatric medical groups in California, with more than 80 physicians located in 19 practice sites throughout San Diego and Riverside counties. The Medical Group was formed in 1995 by a number of Pediatricians who had been established in the community for over twenty years. The Group has grown significantly and we, the physicians, along with our management team from Rady Children's Physician Management Services are committed to the delivery of quality health care and services to all the patients and families we serve.

Specialized Training

Our pediatricians are primary care doctors who have specifically chosen to dedicate themselves to helping children and adolescents. After medical school, they take an additional three or more years of special courses in a residency program. On passing a specialty test they then become a board certified pediatrician. A doctor may then become a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P) and/or the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (F.A.C.O.P).
