Swimmer’s Ear 101

In the heat of the summer, I know that once temperatures start to spike I’ll be seeing lots of kids with swimmer’s ear. I’m not alone – the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that each year swimmer’s ear (otitis externa) results in 2.4 million visits each year to the pediatrician, urgent care or emergency room.
