WEARING IS CARING

One of the best ways to show that you care about other people during this time is by wearing a face covering when you are in public places like a store or medical office where social distancing might be hard to maintain.

Face coverings are proven to limit the spread of the coronavirus. They are meant to protect other people in case you are carrying the virus, and they will also help you and your child from inhaling the virus.

CPCMG requires you and your child to wear a face covering (like a mask or gaiter) when you visit any CPCMG office for medical care. We’re also going to require you and your child to wear your masks during your entire time at the office (your doctor may ask your child to take off their mask for an exam – that’s ok!).

Here are some reminders about how to wear a face covering:

  • Make sure the mask or (other face covering) is covering your mouth and nose the entire time you have it on your face.
  • Ensure the covering fits snugly on your face.
  • Wash your hands (or use hand sanitizer) before putting it on and after taking it off.
  • Do not touch your mask or face covering while wearing it.
  • Handle your mask by the straps.
  • For cloth masks, wash after each wear. Be sure to throw away disposable masks (don’t reuse a disposable mask). Gaiters should also be washed after every wear.
