Personal Statement

“I feel so fortunate to work with children, who bring so much light and joy to the people around them. I enjoy the day to day meetings with parents, toddlers, and adolescents. I think my favorite part of pediatrics is being able to see the honest life of each family – everyone is so different but all of us are unified by the love for our children and our willingness to do whatever it takes to keep them happy, safe, and healthy.

My husband and I have two girls, ages two and five months. We enjoy family time outdoors – after moving from Chicago, we are looking forward to experiencing life in San Diego where there is no such thing as a polar vortex or wind chills of -20 degrees!”
