CPCMG Medical Center Court welcomes new pediatricians

Children’s Primary Care Medical Group is pleased to welcome Dr. Diana Mosquera, Dr. Catherine Yao and Dr. Shabnam Zargar to their Medical Center Court office in Chula Vista.

Dr. Mosquera attended medical school at Universidad del Valle Health Sciences Medical School in Columbia and completed her residency at Long Island College. She says she loves to see children grow and develop their unique personalities. “I also enjoy having long lasting relationships with my patients and their families,” said Dr. Mosquera. “I believe every child deserves to be as happy and healthy as possible and it is very rewarding to be there to help.” Outside of the office, Dr. Mosquera loves exploring Southern California with her son and husband, watching movies and cooking.

Dr. Yao went to medical school right here in San Diego at UC San Diego and completed her residency at the University of California, San Francisco. “I decided to become a pediatrician because I love working with kids and families,” she said. “What I like most about working with kids is their spirit and resilience. It is a great privilege to be a part of their lives and help them grow into strong, healthy adults.” In her spare time Dr. Yao enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, and reading.

Dr. Zargar attended medical school at Ross University in New Jersey and completed her residency at the University of Nevada. She’s wanted to be a pediatrician since the fifth grade! “When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I remember saying, “I want to be a kid doctor!,” she commented. “I have always enjoyed being around children and I never cease to be amazed at the things kids say or do.” Dr. Zargar spends her free time with her family hiking, cooking and traveling.

All three pediatricians are available for appointments at CPCMG Medical Center Court. To schedule an appointment, please call the Welcome Center at 858-502-1177.
