Personal Statement

“I feel privileged to have the opportunity to care for children from birth until college. Watching children grow over time and being there for parents, assisting families in times of need and sharing in their joys and triumphs, is extremely rewarding. I view my patients as part of my extended family. The guiding principle of my medical practice is to listen mindfully to each child and parent, and to treat every patient as if they were my own child. In addition, I believe it is critical that doctors always remember to keep the humanity in medicine, for one cannot be a good physician without first being a good human being. In my free time, I enjoy reading and classical piano, but most of all I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, the true source of my inspiration.”
