Personal Statement

“I became a nurse practitioner to make a difference in the world. I fell in love with pediatrics because I really enjoy the children and their families. My best advice to parents is to always be present. In a world full of technology, “busyness” and distractions, being physically and mentally present for your children daily is key. I always advise to have family dinners daily with no technology or tv present.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my four adult children and two grandsons. I enjoy traveling to visit them often. I love being outdoors and often will be found in the gym. I am currently spear-heading a bicycle safety program in Temecula called “Caught With Your Helmet On.” The focus is to increase helmet safety among our kids because we know, “Helmets Save Lives.”
