Personal Statement

“My love for children made pediatrics an easy decision. As a pediatrician I feel privileged to be invited into the lives of my patients and their families. As a mother of three children I can relate to the amazing joys as well as the struggles that all families encounter. I strongly believe in the body’s ability to help heal itself and prescribe honey and chicken soup more often than antibiotics (though I certainly use those too when truly needed). When not in the office I spend time with my wonderful husband and children. I also love reading, quilting and Pilates.”
