“I decided to be a nurse practitioner because I wanted to make a significant impact on patients and their family’s life through education and providing comprehensive primary healthcare. I enjoy interacting with the different age groups, getting to know the patients and their families, and relating life experiences.

My advice to parents is to always remember to create positive experiences for your children that helps them feel good about themselves. My favorite quote by Maya Angelou reminds us that “people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my spouse and daughter. I also like to run and read.”
