Emily Beth Curran, MD, FAAP

Name: Emily Beth Curran

Title: MD, FAAP

Sex: F

Personal Statement:

I chose to become a pediatrician because it offered me the chance to contribute to the well-being of the next generation. By teaching children healthy lifestyles, I can offer a foundation of health that can hopefully carry them through adulthood.

I’m captivated by the diverse world of pediatrics, where babies, toddlers, and teenagers each present unique challenges and joys. Despite their differences, they all share the innocence and wonder of childhood. It’s an awe-inspiring experience to witness a child’s journey through these developmental stages, and I can’t help but feel a sense of hope as they grow into young adults, ready to make a positive impact on society.

My loving husband, Matt, and I are blessed with three children and an adorable dog named Jellybean. As a family, we actively participate in church regularly. We are also passionate sports enthusiasts, and our children engage in various sports, including flag football, baseball, and basketball. Whether we’re cheering on our children’s competitions or supporting our favorite teams, the Dodgers, Trojans, and Packers, we’re always ready for the next game!  In my minimal but treasured free time, I enjoy making sourdough, crocheting, and reading in my minimal but treasured free time.
