Personal Statement:

“I’ve been interested in Pediatrics since childhood. As a young patient at an allergy specialist’s office, I remember watching the providers and nurses and thinking, “I could do something like this for a job.” During my Pediatrics rotation in medical school, I found fulfillment in supporting parents through their children’s health challenges and serving as an advocate for young patients. I also love how resilient kids are – how quickly they recover and their eagerness to return to everyday life after illness or injury is truly inspiring.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping – anything outdoors is fair game. I’ve been married for 25 years, and we have three daughters. We enjoy family movie night, playing games and finding unique activities that we can all enjoy.”
