Personal Statement:

“I am drawn to pediatrics for the opportunity to watch children and families grow. I believe in partnering with parents in their children’s care and health decisions. My professional interests include: natural approaches to healing, preventative health care and nutrition and breast feeding support. As a past chief resident of UCSD’s pediatric residency program, I maintain my connection to the university and Rady’s Children’s Hospital by mentoring pediatricians in training and students (who you might get to meet at the office) and am the co-chair of our education committee. Outside of work you’ll find me exploring nature with my family, reading, taking yoga or teaching my two boys the UofA fight song.”
