Personal Statement

“After ten years of hospital and home health nursing, I decided I wanted to become an NP.  Despite being certified as a family nurse practitioner, my nearly 10 years experience as an NP has been in pediatrics. The kids make my days fun and enjoyable! Having the opportunity to develop long term bonds with the children and families is very rewarding.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my partner and our 3 year-old daughter. We like to go on adventures and try new experiences. I also like running, reading, and crafting. I love animals and volunteer by fostering animals in my home and helping at animal shelters. We have a yellow lab and a cat (who is almost 19!).”
