Personal Statement

“I decided to become a pediatrician because I wanted to empower children from an early age to make healthy choices in their lives. The ability to watch them grow, develop personalities and find their passions and gifts is incredible, and I get to be a part of that journey along with their parents! I feel blessed to have the world’s best job! In my free time I keep busy with my husband and three children – we love to swim, go to the beach, hike, cheer on the Stanford football team and have movie nights. I love reading, cooking, and gardening – it’s been a fun (and free!) way to incorporate more vegetables into our family’s diet.”
