Personal Statement:

“I have always loved working with children, but it was during medical school that I decided to become a pediatrician. I was fortunate enough to learn from many inspirational pediatricians who spread their passion to me. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with young kids and teenagers. I was drawn to their high amounts of energy, resilience and revitalizing mentality. I realized that I wanted to serve our community by helping take care of our most precious and vulnerable members – our children.

I live in San Diego with my husband, daughter and son. We love to spend time with friends and relatives, traveling, exploring parks and beaches, watching movies and TV shows, and playing music. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching Indian movies and TV shows, trying new recipes in the kitchen, traveling, and exploring new cities.”
