Personal Statement:

“I always knew I wanted to be a pediatrician as I was inspired by the caring physicians in my family. I love watching children grow from newborns into adulthood, and supporting families through both healthy and tough times. Parenting is one of the most challenging and rewarding roles in life, and enjoying the process and remembering that your love and support mean the most to your kids is so important.

To stay grounded, I practice mindfulness and enjoy nature daily. Along with my husband and two teenage children, we love exploring the beaches and mountains. When I’m not busy with their soccer and dance activities, I relax with a good book, cooking traditional Persian food, and volunteering at our annual church BBQ.”
