Personal Statement

“My background in nursing and pediatric primary care combined with the inspiration from my mother, a family physician from Ecuador, inspired me toward helping families cultivate wellness throughout their lives. I am inspired by the joyful nature and incredible resilience of children and am passionate about ensuring the well-being of all children across their development while mitigating health disparities.

In my free time I love spending time at the beach and hiking, enjoying live music, salsa dancing, and spending time with my friends. I also like learning new recipes to try and sharing my favorite dish, Ecuadorian ceviche, with my family and friends.”
