You are viewing the United States version of our Privacy Notice (“U.S. Notice”), which applies to our processing of personal data of US residents. This US Notice is for individuals residing in certain US states and is designed to help you better understand how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information and, depending on where you reside, how to exercise available rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, and similar state laws as they take effect (collectively, the “US Privacy Laws”).

Information Collection, Use and Disclosure

1. Collection

We collect information from you in several different ways on this Site. Information we may collect includes:

  • Information Collected Through Cookies and Similar Technologies. Like many sites, the Site employs cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, and other similar technologies to speed your navigation of the Site, recognize you and your access privileges, and track your Site usage.
  • Technical Information. As is true of most web sites, the Site server automatically recognizes the Internet URL from which you access the Site. We may also log your Internet protocol (“IP”) address, Internet service provider, and date/time stamp for system administration, order verification, internal marketing, and system troubleshooting purposes. (An IP address may indicate the location of your computer on the Internet.)
  • Contact Us. You may choose to submit a Contact Us request. If you complete and submit a request, we will ask for your email address (your email address will be kept private). Any personally identifiable information that you submit as part of the request will be kept confidential.

2. Use

We use your personal information to:

  • Improve Site Functionality. We use your information to improve site functionality, such as making the Site easier for you to use and helping you quickly find information, products, and services.
  • Improve Our Services. We may use your personal information to improve the Sites’ content and layout, to improve outreach, and to determine general marketplace information about visitors to the Site.
  • Communicate with You. We will use your personal information to communicate with you about the Site.
  • Advertise and Market to You. We may use your personal information to tailor or deliver advertisements to you, and for our marketing efforts (including marketing our services and products to you).
  • Comply with Legal, Regulatory, and Related Obligations. We may use your personal information to comply with legal, regulatory, or related obligations, including to protect our legal rights.

3. Disclosure

We want to provide you with excellent service. We do not sell, rent, trade, license or otherwise disclose your personal information or financial information to anyone other than:

  • Business Partners: We may share information (such as the number of daily visitors to a particular web page, or the size of an order placed on a certain date) with third parties such as advertising partners. For example, we use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics on our website—for more information, see our Cookie Policy or Google’s explanation at “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.” We also include content from YouTube, a third-party service that maintains independent Terms of Service.
  • Third-Party Integrations: You can choose to share your information with third-party apps, plugins, or websites that you choose to integrate. Information you provide to these third parties is subject to their terms and policies.
  • Corporate Affiliates and Business Acquisition or Sale: We share your personal information with our corporate affiliates. It’s possible that we might acquire, merge with, or be acquired by another company or that we might dispose of some or all of our assets. If that happens, your personal information may be disclosed to another company, subject to the Privacy Policy in effect.
  • Legal, Regulatory, and Related Third Parties: We may disclose such information in response to requests from law enforcement officials conducting investigations; subpoenas; a court order; or if we are otherwise required to disclose such information by law. We also will release personal information where disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements, or to protect ourselves or others. For example, we may share information to reduce the risk of fraud or if someone uses or attempts to use the Site for illegal reasons or to commit fraud.

Selling or Sharing Personal Information

Laws in California and other states give users in the state the right to opt out of the “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising of their personal information. “Sale” refers to the disclosure of personal information to a third party in exchange for money or other value. “Share” refers to the disclosure of personal information to a third party for purposes of targeted advertising.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties in exchange for money. Our use of advertising partners and ad networks for analytics and advertising purposes may be considered “sales,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising of personal information under the laws described above. Depending on the state you live in, you may opt-out of these disclosures below (see “Your rights over your information” section below). We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of individuals under 18 years of age.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal information as long as we need it to provide our products, comply with legal obligations, or protect our or other’s interests. We decide how long we need information on a case-by-case basis. Here is what we consider when we decide:

  • If we need it to provide our products or services.
  • How long we need to retain the information to comply with certain legal obligations.
  • If we need it for other legitimate purposes, such as to prevent harm; investigate possible violations of our terms or policies; promote safety, security and integrity; or protect ourselves, including our rights, property or products.

Your Rights Over Your Information

Depending on where you live, and subject to certain exceptions, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Right to Know: The right to request that we disclose to you the personal information we collect, use, or disclose about you, and information about our data practices.
  • Right to Request Correction: The right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
  • Right to Request Deletion: The right to request that we delete personal information that we have collected about you.
  • Right to Opt Out: The right to opt out from the “sale” / “sharing” of your personal information, including the processing of your personal information for purposes of targeted advertising.
  • Sensitive Data: For categories of sensitive personal information that we collect, we only use or disclose such information either with your specific consent when required, or as otherwise permitted by law.
  • Automated Profiling: We do not profile in furtherance of solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.
  • Appeal: In certain states, you may have the right to appeal our decision regarding a request related to these rights. If you wish to appeal against a decision, please contact us using the information below.

To exercise your rights, please contact us in the following ways:

To opt out of sharing, or targeted advertising, you may also configure your browser to send a recognized opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. For more information, please visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/.

Please note that to protect your information and the integrity of our products and services, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. In some cases, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identity.

Under US Privacy Laws, you may also designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent to submit a request, we may need to collect additional information to verify your identity and the agent’s authorization before processing the request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

If you would prefer to opt out of online CPCMG.Net advertising that may be targeted or tailored to your interests, you can also use the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) Opt-Out Tool. To opt out of an NAI member’s advertising program, simply follow the steps below:

  • Go to the NAI (Network Advertising Initiative) consumer opt-out page by clicking here
  • How to Opt Out – NAI: Network Advertising Initiative
  • Check the box that corresponds to the company from which you wish to opt out. Alternatively, you can check the box labeled “Select All” and each member’s’ opt-out box will be checked for you.
  • Next click the “Submit” button. The Tool will automatically replace the specified advertising cookies(s) and verify your opt-out status.

Opting out of a network does not mean you will no longer receive online advertising. It only means that the network from which you opted out will no longer deliver ads tailored to your Web preferences and usage patterns. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

You may also control your online behavioral advertising preferences and opt out from having your data processed by certain marketing companies by visiting http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ and http://optout.aboutads.info/. Please note, however, that managing these preferences will not turn off internet advertisements in general. You will still receive the same number of advertisements, but those advertisements will be less reflective of your interests, as indicated by your web browsing habits. In addition, please note that the opt-out preferences that you set using these tools may be nullified if you delete your cookies after setting them.

Data Security

The Site incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) for all financial transactions through the Site. We use SSL encryption to protect your personal information online, and we also take several steps to protect your personal information in our facilities. Access to your personal information is restricted. Only employees who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to your personal information. Finally, we rely on third-party service providers for the physical security of some of our computer hardware. We believe that their security procedures are reasonable and appropriate. For example, when you visit the Site, you access servers that are kept in a secure physical environment, behind a locked cage and an electronic firewall.

While we use industry-standard precautions to safeguard your personal information, we cannot guarantee complete security. 100% complete security does not presently exist anywhere online or offline.

Children

We respect children’s privacy. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from children under age 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any personal information to us, and rely on a parent or guardian to assist you.

Updates to this Policy

If we change or update this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice to you as required, including by posting changes and updates on the Site so that you will always be aware of what information we collect, use and disclose. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy from time to time so you will know if the Privacy Policy has been changed or updated. If you have any questions about the Privacy Policy, please contact us at Contact Us.
